Ahmad bin Ali Stadium is also known as Al-Rayyan Stadium, a multipurpose stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar

Venue is named after the Qatar’s former Emir Ahmad bin Al Thani. The former stadium was built in 2003 but was demolished in 2015 and rebuilt with capacity of 40740 and renamed as Al Rayyan Stadium.

About 90 % rubble of the demolished Ahmad bin Ali Stadium is used either in the construction of new Al Rayyan Stadium or public art projects.
